The Name

We were not trying to name an advisory firm. We were trying to name a mission.

We spent a great deal of time thinking about the name, because we were not naming a company so much as naming an intention.

Throughout my career, as a builder, operator, investor, and strategist, I found myself drawn to the same idea: helping people and institutions become what they are capable of becoming.

Helping potential become reality.
Helping leaders become what they are capable of becoming.
Helping organizations become what they are capable of becoming.
Helping healthcare become what it is capable of becoming.

That search led us to an ancient idea: entelechy.

Aristotle used the word to describe the realization of potential into its fullest form: the acorn becoming the oak, possibility becoming reality, capacity becoming achievement.

But realizing potential is only part of the story.

The future we are working toward is not simply one of greater capability, but of greater vitality, flourishing, and health. That aspiration drew us to a second idea: the elixir, a symbol throughout history of renewal, vitality, and the pursuit of a fuller life.

From those two ideas came Entelix.

A name that combines the realization of potential with the advancement of vitality and flourishing.

Potential realized.
Vitality advanced.
Human flourishing enabled.

We believe healthcare is entering the greatest period of transformation in human history. Artificial intelligence, new models of care, and unprecedented access to knowledge are creating the possibility of moving from scarcity toward abundance in health.

Our mission is to help leaders, institutions, and innovators realize that potential.

To advance human excellence.
To make health abundant.

That is Entelix.
